Gemart Appraisals is an “independent fee appraisal” firm: We do not buy art or antiques. Hence we have absolutely no vested interest in the items we appraise. Our professional fee for rendering our appraisal services is not based on a ‘percentage of value’ for the objects we appraise.

Like most other professional practitioners, our fee is basd upon an ‘hourly rate’ to be calculated times the number of hours expended by us to complete the given assignment. To this end, we provide preliminary “on-site” consultations complete with firm estimates of all costs to be incurred for our services.

Depending upon our client's specific requirements, our professional services may (sometimes) involve special ancillary/contingent ‘services’ and/or products which would become integral to the appraisal services; in such case(s) the client will always be advised before we would proceed with same.
